Ordered the raw beef Pho with beef balls. It tastes awesome. The soup base is wonderfully prepared, tasty broth and clear. One of the best pho I have tasted in a while. Recommended for all Pho lovers. it taste better than In Vietnam itself. Price is mid range with a generous portion of fresh beef. The dripped coffee with condensed milk tastes wonderful. Ambience is minimal, go for a quick meal.

Authentic Vietnamese food. If you’re looking for delicious simple Vietnamese food then look no further. In the weekend you’re probably going to wait over an hour for a table at lunch. But it’s worth it. The service isn’t great, but that doesn’t matter as you’re going for the food. I got the simple Pho. The medium size is very filling.

Wow! In Little Saigon, there are SO many delicious Vietnamese restaurants. But Pho 79 really is top of the line. I didn't believe all of the "hype" until a friend visiting from LA got to me try it, and I am so happy I did! I took my brother who was visiting on business from Canada, and now he can't wait to visit California again. Don't miss out if you're in Orange County; it is well worth the way.

This place is well worth the wait and is deserving of its reputation. Among the best broth for pho I've had in a long time. The menu: Oxtail is a fantastic side under $5. A must get if you like that kind of thing. We got #24 and #32. Both were great. The tendon was tender and not too chewy like some places. Again, the broth is among the best, which really makes the soup what it should be. Side plate has a good selection of herbs. Lemon instead of lime is served (not complaining). The Super Bowl Pho #33 appears to be popular. The server explained #32 is a smaller version of it. Highly recommended!
